Governments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan to Sign Agreement on Construction of Kambaratinskaya Hydroelectric Power Station
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan are set to sign an agreement for the construction of the Kambaratinskaya Hydroelectric Power Station (HPP-1) in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to cooperate on the project's implementation and operation. The three Central Asian countries will establish a joint stock company to implement the project, with each country holding a designated share, and the station is expected to have a capacity of 1860 MW and produce 5.6 billion kWh of electricity annually upon completion.
