Residents of Shymkent have shown strong support for the "Taza Kazakhstan" environmental campaign by actively participating in cleanup efforts. During the first week of the campaign, citizens, activists, and workers from various organizations and enterprises have been cleaning up surrounding areas, planting greenery, and taking care of trees.
A city-wide cleanup event #TazaShym took place in Shymkent today, with activities carried out in all districts and residential areas. One of the events was held in the Abai district, where over 500 residents and around 20 pieces of equipment from neighboring microdistricts such as "Shymsity," "Turan," "Asar," and others participated in cleaning and beautifying courtyards, underground and aboveground pedestrian walkways, bus stops, as well as along Baidibek bi Avenue and A2 highway.
The event saw the participation of labor veterans, members of the Commission for Family and Women's Affairs O. Tajibaeva, the director of School No. 90 A. Orynbaev, activist G. Kudaibergen, veterans, youth representatives, and other activists and notable citizens.
Additionally, the campaign received special support from the residents of Shymkent, who actively started working.
