A Kyrgyz woman who sheltered 150 children during the Leningrad Siege in 1942 will have her name immortalized in St. Petersburg, as reported by the TV channel "Saint Petersburg." A center in St. Petersburg will be named after Toktogon Altybasarova, recognizing her heroic actions during the blockade.
