Negligence in Forest Fire Management: 14 Casualties Lead to Criminal Convictions

Two employees of the State Nature Reserve "Semey ormany" were sentenced to 7 years in prison for their negligence in a forest fire that resulted in the death of 14 people. Kazakhstan declared June 12 as a National Day of Mourning in connection with the tragedy.
