A series of cultural events dedicated to the Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan on May 1, 2024, have been planned in Astana. Among them are various challenges, concerts, and round table discussions. This information was shared by the press service of the city akimat.
On April 30, thematic curator hours dedicated to the celebration of the Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan will take place at the Eurasian Humanitarian College, along with a round table discussion titled "Bar Berekе-Birlіkte!"
At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and several colleges, lectures by members of the National Academy of Sciences dedicated to the holiday will be held.
In the residential area of Zheleznodorozhny, a drawing competition "Tatulık mekenі" among schoolchildren will be held on April 30.
Concert events are planned at Children's Music Schools No. 1 and No. 3.
At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, a round table discussion and a blitz tournament "Poliyazıchie as the Kazakhstani educational process" will take place.
A concert for employees, parents, and service recipients will be held at the Zhansaya Social Service Center.
Various events such as concerts, national games festivals, drawing competitions are scheduled to be held at the "Umit" Crisis Center, "Qamqor" Social Service Center, "Sharapat" Social Service Center, "Zhanuya" Family Support Center, "Nurly Zhurek" Social Service Center, and the Active Longevity Center.
A round table discussion will take place at the Kazakh University of Technology and Business, a theatrical and choreographic composition "Karavan Druzhby" will be presented at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren, and a round table discussion with students "Strana Druzhby" will be held at the Centralized Library System.
At the Akzhaik Park at the intersection of Bogenbay and Zhenis avenues, tree planting will be conducted with the participation of members of ethnocultural associations.
On April 30 and May 1, an expressive poetry reading event in different languages will take place at the Writers' Alley. Additionally, a chalk drawing competition "Pod odnim shaңyrakom", a book exhibition on the theme "Yntymagy jarasqan tugan olkem - Qazaqstan" at the Kitap Qala Library, and fun activities for young residents of the Baikonur district will be organized.
On May 1, a festive event "Baursak obyedinyaet" (distribution of baursaks) is planned throughout the city.
The A. Mambetov Comedy-Drama Theater will host the premiere of the play "Akan seri", the "Zhashtar" Palace will hold a concert "Sarayymyzdyn balalary", the ALZHIR Memorial Museum Complex will feature an exhibition "Ult Birlіk - Uly baylyq", the S. Seifullin Museum will showcase an exhibition "Birlіk duni-bereke", and the M. Utemisov Palace of Schoolchildren will present an exhibition "Birlіk jarasqan Qazaqstan!".
A series of holiday-related events will take place at the Palace of Schoolchildren along B. Momishuly Avenue. Additionally, an action "Zhelaem mira i soglasiya" (wishing peace and harmony) will be organized at Secondary School No. 42 with the participation of representatives of different ethnic groups.
At the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, a round table discussion "Yntymagy jarasqan Qazaqstan" is planned.
