The film "Mountain Earthquake" by director Begaly Nargozu has won the main prize at the International Film Festival in Nice, France. The news was announced by the creators on social media.
The film triumphed in the category of "Best Full-Length Feature Film".
The festival took place from May 13th to 15th. Among the invitees to the film forum were Begaly Nargozu (director), Jamila Sydykbaeva (portraying the role of Grandma Sheker), Marat Ibraev (portraying the role of Melis), and Afizakan Myrzapayazova (executive producer of the film).
It is worth noting that the national premiere of the film "Mountain Earthquake" took place on December 15, 2023.
