The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Google have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of education. The signing took place during the working visit of the Prime Minister, Akylbek Japarov, to Washington, D.C.
"We are proud to be the first country in the region to collaborate with Google Education and implement cutting-edge practices in schools across Kyrgyzstan. Our partnership with Google in the education sector should only be the first step. Our teams are working on cloud resource development, improving the efficiency of public services, and developing artificial intelligence programs," stated the head of the Cabinet.
Google's Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy, Mark Isakovich, expressed readiness for further collaboration.
"We are pleased to see that your vision for the future of education in your country aligns with ours. We are excited to collaborate with the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in realizing this vision. We know that you are committed to building human capital in Kyrgyzstan, and we would like to support these efforts," he said.
Google will support the "Altyn Qazyq" program for transforming the school education system and provide expert assistance in selecting optimal and promising approaches to the implementation and practical use of these tools in the learning process.
