The delegation from Turkmenistan, consisting of professors from the Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan, participated in the Times Higher Education Asian Universities Summit in Kuala Lumpur from April 29 to May 2. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The event was attended by finalists of the sixth THE Awards Asia 2024 from 17 countries, including Turkmenistan, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, China, Turkey, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
Universities that became winners of the prestigious award were announced and honored. The Turkmen university made it to the shortlist of finalists for the THE Awards Asia 2024, where 600 universities from 22 countries were in contention. The Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan made it to the top eight universities in the category of Student Recruitment Campaign of the Year.
