Kyrgyzstan Students Shine at Balkan Math Olympiad with Four Medals

Students from Kyrgyzstan at the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, which took place in Bulgaria, won four medals and two honorable diplomas. This information was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.

According to the Ministry, the students brought home one silver and three bronze medals. The students were prepared for the Olympiad by their mathematics teacher Mamat Ishmatov.

The silver medal was won by an 8th-grade student from "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" school, Yan Bobrus, while the bronze medals were awarded to 10th-grade students from "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" school, Nursultan Eshperov and Seyit Ryskulov, and a 10th-grade student from UK AFMSHL 61, Nurdoolot Kaparov. The honorable diplomas were received by 10th-grade students from UK AFMSHL 61, Nazar Kirgizbaev and Aydin Asankadyrov.

In the 41st Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO-2024), students from 22 countries participated.
