Enrollment for First Grade Begins in Kyrgyzstan, Over 63,000 Children Enrolled

As of 10:00 on May 8, a total of 63,144 children have been enrolled in the first grade in Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Education and Science.

In Bishkek, places have been filled in five schools:

  • Gymnasium-Complex No. 26 with advanced study of the French language,
  • Educational and Educational Complex (EEC) School-Gymnasium No. 70,
  • EEC School-Gymnasium No. 29,
  • EEC School-Gymnasium No. 20 named after Heydar Aliyev,
  • School-Gymnasium No. 13 with advanced study of the English language.

There are currently no filled schools in the city of Osh.

It is worth reminding that on April 8, electronic registration for the first grade started in Kyrgyzstan. The process is carried out through an automated information system in two stages.

During the first stage, until June 2, children are registered based on their micro-district (legal address). During the second stage, from June 3 to August 30, children can be registered in schools with available spots regardless of their place of residence.

Parents or legal representatives can register a child aged six to seven years for the first grade on the platform mektep.edu.gov.kg online.
