The Ministry of Education and Science announced that in the 2024/2025 academic year, ethnic Kyrgyz from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan are eligible to compete for 75 spots in Kyrgyzstan's universities.
Candidates must register and upload necessary documents on the ministry's online system under the section "Admission of ethnic Kyrgyz living abroad to higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic for the 2024-2025 academic year" and fill in all required fields by 23.59 on June 27.
After the application deadline, submissions will be reviewed for compliance with requirements and the presence of all necessary documents. Candidates who successfully and timely register on the online system, upload the required documents following the program's requirements, will be allowed to participate in the selection tests.
An admissions committee will be formed to conduct the competition, comprising representatives from universities, the scientific community, civil society, and other stakeholders.
The competition selection for bachelor's programs will take the form of computer/paper testing, tentatively scheduled from July 22 to 25. Information regarding the date and time of the competition tests will be sent to the candidates' personal accounts.
