The first Kazakh kindergarten has opened in the USA, where children will be taught the Kazakh language. The news was announced on May 1st by the TV channel "24.kz".
The idea of creating this educational center belongs to Kazakhstani woman Zhanna Atabekova. According to her, now Kazakhs living and working in Silicon Valley have the opportunity to instill national values and teach the Kazakh language to the younger generation.
In addition to children from Kazakhstan, children from Kyrgyzstan and the USA will also be able to attend the kindergarten.
Earlier, it was reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the language issue at the XXXIII session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. He is confident that Kazakh will become a language of interethnic communication.
