The Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, met with the Minister of Education of Kazakhstan, Gani Beisenbayev, in Astana. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the two officials discussed cooperation in the field of education.
Kendirbaeva shared measures taken to develop the education system in Kyrgyzstan and expressed interest in educational projects in Kazakhstan. The two countries' ministries signed a memorandum on training and professional development for teachers to learn from the Kazakh education system.
Beisenbayev expressed full support for enhancing bilateral cooperation. They discussed aspects of global education development and the common goal of providing children with comfortable learning conditions.
The ministers decided to strengthen collaboration in preschool, school, technical, and vocational education. They also agreed to hold an educational system development forum for friendly countries in June, aiming to expand and deepen their cooperation in all areas.
