The Aga Khan Foundation has made a generous donation to 70 pilot educational institutions and 30 kindergartens as part of the "Schools-2030" program. The donation includes interactive panels, laptops, printers, projectors, and educational materials valued at 5.5 million soms. The Ministry of Education and Science has highlighted that this contribution is intended to support the implementation of innovative climate adaptation solutions developed by teachers and students.
Between 2021-2023, pilot schools have received modern equipment, furniture, and books amounting to a total of 35 million soms. Moreover, in June, the "Schools-2030" program will organize a Global Forum with the participation of over 200 representatives from 36 countries.
"Schools-2030" is a comprehensive program spanning a decade, encompassing 1,000 preschools and educational institutions across 10 countries. The program aims to research and share advanced educational practices to nurture children's knowledge, skills, perspectives, and values.
