President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is set to visit the Namangan region on Monday, as announced by the state leader's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov. During the visit, Mirziyoyev will inspect various projects across different sectors of the economy and kick off the construction of major energy facilities. Additionally, he will visit local neighborhoods (mahallas) as stated in the announcement.
The scheduled meeting is expected to outline further tasks for the social and economic development of the region. The President is also scheduled to participate in an iftar gathering, a traditional meal to break the fast during Ramadan.
