in Economy / Uzbekistan - by

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of supporting unemployed individuals and low-income families to ensure their employment. Officials will collaborate closely with enterprises, entrepreneurs, and households to analyze opportunities for increasing incomes through effective use of household plots. The government plans to assist skilled craftsmen in acquiring materials and equipment, while helping aspiring entrepreneurs develop business plans.

Mirziyoyev highlighted the need for active involvement of banks in creating additional jobs, following the example of Yakasaray district in Tashkent. The state allocates significant resources to banks to support local initiatives and employment growth. The President instructed to organize small-scale production in households, provide training in goods manufacturing, expand cooperation, and encourage home-based work.

He emphasized the untapped potential of household plots and agricultural lands for fruit and vegetable cultivation for export, as well as for developing animal husbandry, poultry farming, fish farming, and beekeeping. The government aims to enhance household incomes through these initiatives, promoting economic growth and improving living standards.
