UzAuto Motors has revealed updated prices for four budget-friendly Chevrolet models, catching the attention of social media users. The company clarified that the prices on their website are based on forecasted figures for the fourth quarter of 2024 and no final decision has been made regarding price hikes.

The planned prices for the automobiles are as follows:

- Cobalt GS-Style Plus MT: 133,598,000 soums (previously 124,264,000 soums)

- Cobalt GX-Style Plus AT: 156,589,000 soums (previously 146,757,000 soums)

- Damas D2 DLX Style Plus: 100,325,000 soums (previously 96,932,000 soums)

- Labo: 98,779,000 soums (previously 96,115,000 soums)

UzAuto Motors stated that increasing production volumes has allowed them to make vehicles more affordable for end consumers by bypassing intermediaries. This has led to a significant decrease in prices on the secondary market. The company also mentioned additional production of Damas, Labo, and Chevrolet Cobalt vehicles due to rising market demand.

Furthermore, UzAuto Motors plans to introduce a system for car sales that aligns with international standards. This system will allow dealers to purchase vehicles for resale at a recommended retail price, promoting competition among dealerships and enhancing service quality.

In October of last year, UzAuto Motors raised prices for its models by an average of 5.1%, followed by another increase in December. Starting January 2024, the company ceased production of Gentra/Lacetti cars.
