Uzbekistan is offering employers from Germany to fill the shortage of workers in hospitals, metallurgy, and transportation, as reported by the press service of the Agency for External Labor Migration.
The Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, Behzod Musaev, and the Chairman of the Board of the German company Mangold Consulting, Klaus Mangold, discussed issues of professional training and attracting Uzbek citizens to in-demand job positions in Germany.
It was noted that more than 1000 hospitals in Germany are experiencing a shortage of medical personnel, and Uzbekistan is ready to fill this gap, according to the statement.
Demand for labor in Germany is also observed in metallurgy, logistics, and transportation, as highlighted in the announcement.
"The parties agreed to develop a legal framework for the accelerated implementation of the agreements reached," the press service added.
However, the hiring process is slowing down due to language barriers, leading to a proposal to soften language requirements. "In particular, it was stated that the duration of German language courses needs to be shortened," noted the press service.
It is worth mentioning that in January, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, instructed the organization of training for approximately 100,000 citizens of the country for employment in foreign countries through organized recruitment. Later, the agency announced the recruitment for 50,000 job vacancies in Germany.
