The Committee on Language Policy has prepared an order on the approval of rules for the Kazakh Language Proficiency Assessment System "KAZTEST."
The testing under KAZTEST is conducted by the Republican State Enterprise "National Testing Center" of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. KAZTEST consists of two types of testing: diagnostic and certification, carried out in paper or electronic format.
The testing location for individuals in Astana is determined by the center, while for legal entities, it is at the inviting party's premises. In regional centers and cities of republican significance, testing is conducted at the customer's institution.
Applications for testing are accepted through the website kazakhtest.kz (for individuals) and the center's office (for legal entities).
The procedure for launching the testing includes identity verification, payment confirmation, and admission based on specific criteria for individuals and legal entities. Test takers are provided assistance as necessary, and the testing process is monitored by authorized center representatives.
After the testing, the results are processed and certificates are issued accordingly. For individuals, a certificate is given after diagnostic testing, while legal entities receive examination reports and certificates for employees who pass the test. The authenticity of electronic certificates can be verified online on the official website.
The document regarding the KAZTEST rules is available for public discussion on the "Open NPA" website until April 29.
