In April, the first shipment of gold to the international market is expected from Kyrgyzaltyn. A high-ranking official from the president's administration revealed this to journalists during a closed briefing.
Emphasizing that the precious metal will be sold at the London Stock Exchange price at the time of delivery, the official mentioned receiving various offers for gold purchases, many of which requested a discount. Now, everything will be transparent. At the same time, the official expressed the desire for as much gold as possible to remain in the country for the population to invest in.
Kyrgyzaltyn is completing the construction of a plant for standard ingots, allowing people to purchase them, while around 10-12 tons will be sold to the external market. The official also stated that the country's authorities are making significant efforts to develop the jewelry industry domestically.
