NEC Kyrgyzstan to Build Three Substations by 2024, Ministry of Energy Reports

The branch of NEC Kyrgyzstan in Jalal-Abad will construct three substations as part of the capital construction plan for 2024, according to the Ministry of Energy's press service. The substations will be built in the villages of Deyres, Zherge-Tal of Aksy district, and Zhany-Dyikan of Suzak district, with varying power capacities.

Additionally, a 125 MVA transformer AT-3 at the 220/110/10 kV Torobaev substation will be replaced with a 200 MVA transformer to meet the increasing electricity consumption demands.

The Ministry of Energy highlighted the efforts to enhance equipment capacities to meet the growing electricity consumption annually. The necessary funds for the project implementation will be allocated by NEC Kyrgyzstan based on the approved plan.
