The project aims to effectively and sustainably monitor villages and glaciers to reduce their short-term and long-term impact on sources of livelihood and land degradation. The allocated funds will help mitigate the impact of climate change on natural disasters, reduce economic losses from mudflows and floods, enhance the resilience of vulnerable communities, and protect over 9,500 yards, 2,754 households, 7,828 hectares of agricultural land, and numerous social facilities.
