Kyrgyzstan to Open 11 Agricultural Service Centers Nationwide

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region under the Ministry of Agriculture, 11 Agricultural Service Centers will be established across the country. This announcement was made by the Prime Minister Akylbek Zaparov during a forum dedicated to the development of a sustainable agro-industrial sector in Kyrgyzstan.

According to Zaparov, 16 major infrastructure projects will be launched, including:

- Trade and logistics centers in the Osh and Chui regions

- Fruit canning factories in the Chui region

- The expansion of trade and logistics networks such as "Kyrgyz Product" in the Moskovsky district of the Chui region, among other initiatives.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the expected 2.8% increase in the overall agricultural production volume by 2024, with a growth of 2.7% in crop production and 2.2% in animal husbandry. Ensuring price stability for food products was emphasized as crucial to protect citizens from global market fluctuations and to ensure the affordability of quality products.
