Kyrgyzstan Allocates 600 Million Som for Digitalization in 2024

The Kyrgyzstan government has allocated 600 million som for digitalization in the 2024 budget, according to the Ministry of Finance. This marks an increase of 100 million som compared to previous years.

A total of 2.5 billion som has been spent on the digital economy from 2019 to 2023, distributed to relevant state bodies. In the field of e-governance, 197 projects have been implemented during this period, with 19 more nearing completion.

To further enhance digital transformation, the concept of "Digital Kyrgyzstan - 2024-2028" has been developed by the Ministry of Finance. This initiative aims to advance the country's digital transformation efforts in the coming years.
