The press service of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange has announced that the securities of OAO "Manas International Airport" have been upgraded from category "B" to category "A", the highest category on the official list. This upgrade signifies that the company meets a range of stringent requirements set by the exchange. These requirements include the issuer company's longevity, equity capital, and profitability. It is mandatory to have audited financial statements for the previous fiscal year, a net profit for the reporting year or over the course of three years, and the presence of a market maker for the securities on the exchange.
Securities in the "A" category are associated with minimal risks and high investment quality. OAO "Manas International Airport" has been listed on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange since July 2008 and is currently one of the successful and rapidly developing companies in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, only government securities and OAO "MAM" are in the "A" category, making OAO "Manas International Airport" the first company to achieve this highest listing category.
