Starting from April 1, 2024, Russia has expanded the list of light industry goods subject to mandatory marking. This reminder was issued by the Wildberries marketplace office in Kyrgyzstan.
In Bishkek, the international outsourcing platform exhibition Bee-Together for the light industry took place, gathering over 200 representatives from sewing and knitwear enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, international brands, and clothing store chains from Russia and CIS countries.
Ksenia Shkolnikova, the Director of Government Relations at Wildberries in Kyrgyzstan, informed forum participants about the platform's opportunities for exporting sewing and textile products from Kyrgyzstan and the necessity of marking light industry goods for trade in Russia.
To determine the need for marking your products, it is essential to enter the correct TN VED code when creating a product card. The system will automatically indicate the requirement for a control identification mark (KIZ). The full list of marked goods can be found on the "Honest Mark" website.
"We are actively sharing expertise on working with Wildberries on the platform these days. We provide consultations on product exports and sales on the marketplace, and we discuss the opportunities for entrepreneurs when opening order pick-up points under a franchise in Kyrgyzstan," emphasized the company.
