in Economy / Kyrgyzstan - by

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the exclusion of conformity assessment bodies that do not meet the requirements from the Unified Register of the Eurasian Economic Union. The ministry highlighted their efforts to prevent violations in conformity assessment procedures and combat "gray certificates."

A joint plan of measures is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan to tackle unscrupulous entities in accreditation. The Kyrgyz Accreditation Center has conducted an analysis of the conformity of certification bodies.

As of April 5, 2024, following the analysis and considering the results of state supervision, the actions of accreditation certificates have been revoked, leading to the exclusion of three certification bodies from the EAEU Register: Asia Standard LLC, Sapat Test LLC, and Semetei Test LLC.

Additionally, the following product certification bodies have been excluded from the Unified Register: MegaCert LLC, Nukura Cert LLC, KSK Alliance LLC, Bishkek Standard LLC, and Eurasia Certificate LLC.

The ministry stated that the work on analyzing the conformity of conformity assessment bodies to the decisions of the EEC is ongoing, and any discrepancies found will result in further exclusions from the Unified Register.
