The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced changes to certain decisions in the field of renewable energy sources. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister Akylbek Zaparov.
The document is aimed at the development, implementation, and construction of renewable energy facilities, as well as the introduction of new generating capacities.
In particular, the term for leasing land plots under the possession of state land users for the construction of energy installations using renewable energy sources has been extended from 5 to 25 years.
In cases where there is no investor activity at various stages of leasing land plots, conditions for their return are specified in the following situations:
- absence of project documentation from renewable energy entities within three months of receiving the land plot;
- absence of preliminary technical and economic justification and confirmed source of funding for project implementation within six months of receiving the land plot;
- failure to carry out construction work by renewable energy entities within a year of receiving the land plot.
