The municipal enterprise "Municipal Parking Lots, Garages, and Markets" has announced a tender for electronic parking in Bishkek. The announcement has been posted on the tenders.kg website.
All interested suppliers must submit a competitive bid for the acquisition of services and work on automating the city's parking system and optimizing traffic flow. The deadline for submitting proposals is until 9:00 on April 29.
Previously, the capital had launched an electronic paid parking system on a pilot basis. The first electronic parking lot near the municipal building was equipped by the Russian IT developer Sitronics Group as part of a pilot project to introduce paid parking zones in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The software and hardware complex, using video analytics technology, records the car number, parking time, and allows for payment for using the parking zone. When entering the parking lot, the camera automatically registers the license plate, opening the parking session, and when leaving, the session ends," the city hall stated.
