The Ministry of Agriculture in Kyrgyzstan has reported that the total number of cattle in the country reached 2,141.3 thousand heads in the first quarter of 2024. This figure includes 2.3 thousand pigs and 509.8 thousand horses.
Additionally, the Ministry stated that offspring are registered in the animal identification and tracking system, with 181.3 thousand heads of cattle, 1.3 thousand pigs, and 8.9 thousand horses. This data reflects a positive trend in the livestock sector, highlighting growth and development in the agricultural industry of the country.
