The Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance has announced that the republican budget for 2024 includes 1.7 billion som to subsidize thermal energy for the state enterprise "Kyrgyzteploenergo" under the category of "Subsidies to State Enterprises". Of this amount, 750 million som has already been allocated based on applications received in January-February.
The funds are intended to compensate for the losses incurred by heat supply enterprises of "Kyrgyzteploenergo" due to state regulation of tariffs for thermal energy for the population, as explained by the Ministry of Finance. This allocation aims to support the stability and affordability of heating services for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
