At the Caspian Investment Forum in Bishkek, the press service of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the intention of customs services of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan to cooperate. Samat Isabekov, the Head of the State Customs Service, emphasized the significance of the event for the development of Kyrgyzstani-Azerbaijani economic relations.
Isabekov highlighted the importance of enhancing transit potential and fostering business relationships. He believes that Kyrgyzstan could serve as a bridge between China and Azerbaijan, providing a pathway to Turkey and Europe.
"We must streamline customs processes to contribute to international trade development. Achieving these goals can be done through the implementation of automation and digitization of customs procedures," the official stated.
Entrepreneurs from both countries are encouraged to strengthen trade relations, with assurances of support from the authorities.
