$564.3 Million Investment Allocated to Jalal-Abad Region in 2024

In 2024, the Jalal-Abad region is set to receive 3.8 billion soms for targeted transfers, capital investments, electricity supply, stimulating grants, regional development funds, and financing for the agro-industrial complex. According to the Deputy Minister of Finance, Zhibek Duysheeva, this information was reported on the Ministry of Finance's website.

The region will see the implementation of 10 major state investment projects totaling $564.3 million, including projects in the energy, transportation, and water supply sectors. Additionally, 127.7 million soms have been allocated from the national budget for various projects in Jalal-Abad.

As part of the national development program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, the city is also set to receive 100 million soms as a budget loan for the purchase of electric buses and charging stations.

To support small and medium-sized businesses, the Ministry of Finance has provided interest-free loans totaling 913.1 million soms to 1,435 entrepreneurs in the region. This initiative aims to boost entrepreneurship and economic growth in Jalal-Abad, contributing to the overall development of the region.
