According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in 2024, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Kyrgyzstan is expected to exceed 1 trillion 410 billion soms. This was announced at a meeting of the President's administration collegium by the Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov.
He stated that the real growth, according to the Ministry of Economy's forecasts, is expected to reach 6 percent. In 2023, inflation decreased from 13.9 percent to 10.8 percent.
"We completed the first quarter of this year with a GDP growth of 8.8 percent. We increased the country's budget revenues almost threefold. The consolidated budget in 2023 exceeded 575 billion soms, and for 2024, it is planned to reach 600.7 billion. However, the Ministry of Finance predicts exceeding this figure. In the next three years, there are good forecasts for the budget approaching 1 trillion," said Akylbek Japarov.
