The Department of Chemization, Protection, and Quarantine of Plants and the Veterinary Service at the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry have provided information on the agricultural products that can be exported from Kyrgyzstan to China.

The products that can be exported from Kyrgyzstan to China include:

  • Wheat flour
  • Cherries
  • Watermelons
  • Grapes
  • Soybeans

To export other agricultural products to the Chinese market, companies need to register with the main customs administration of China on the CIFER website. The following documents are required for registration:

  • Application (request) to the department
  • Login and password for system access
  • Submission of necessary documents with a password for access

Once approval is granted by the Chinese side, export can proceed. The website of the main customs administration of China lists 42 cherry orchards, 10 melon fields, and 12 fruit plantations from Kyrgyzstan.

It is noted that the requirements of the Chinese side vary depending on the risk associated with each plant product. With special attention to plant safety, the Chinese side conducts comprehensive checks on the products of the first producer-exporters.

Currently, 26 Kyrgyz enterprises involved in the production, processing, storage, and sale of livestock products have the right to export to China.
