The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development plans to allocate a $1.45 million grant for the implementation of the project "Development of an automated information system for categorizing taxpayers 'Taxpayer Rating' and a digital taxpayer profile module in the Kyrgyz Republic." This was reported by the press service of the EFSD.

It is noted that the project implementation involves the creation and implementation of an automated information system at the Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, providing for the categorization of taxpayers, their segmentation using statistical and mathematical models, as well as the development of a digital taxpayer profile module.

The profile will be compiled automatically by collecting and analyzing data about the company from various sources available to the tax authorities.

"It is expected that as a result, companies will have the opportunity to assess potential counterparties. Thus, in addition to increasing the transparency of business operations and the quality of tax administration, the project will improve the overall business climate in the republic," EFSD representatives said.

In addition, a mission of representatives of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development took place in Bishkek. During the visit, EFSD employees met with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Service, discussed the state of the digital infrastructure, and plans for its modernization in the coming years.

Earlier, the EFSD had already supported institutional transformations in the field of tax administration in Kyrgyzstan. In 2022, within the framework of stabilization financing of $160 million, legal foundations were created for the ongoing automation of tax procedures.
