In the Naryn region, a car assembly plant is set to open, as reported by the Ministry of Digital Development.
The plant will be opened as part of the "Two countries, two zones" initiative, established in cooperation between OJSC Kyrgyz Pochtasy, the Naryn Free Economic Zone, and the Kashgar Free Economic Zone.
During the launch phase of the plant, a trilateral memorandum was signed between the company Jiabo, the authorized representative of the president in the Naryn region, and OJSC Kyrgyz Pochtasy.
Following negotiations, Chinese investors led by the CEO of Jiabo, Huang Yunci, have identified land plots for the construction of the enterprise.
Upon completion of the construction, the production of various types of vehicles, including gasoline, electric, and gas-powered ones, will commence. It is expected that between 100 to 1,000 jobs will be created for local residents.
