The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan announced the suspension of short-term regulatory measures starting from March 8th. According to the ministry's press service, electricity consumption has significantly decreased due to warming weather.
On March 8th, electricity consumption in the country's power system amounted to 61 million 117 thousand kilowatt-hours, a decrease from the previous days when it reached up to 70 million kilowatt-hours. The Ministry highlighted the notable drop in consumption as temperatures rose.
