Kyrgyzstan and Netherlands Strengthen Trade Relations: Key Exports and Investments

Iskender Asylkulov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, spoke at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh about the trade relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Netherlands.

He highlighted the goods that Kyrgyzstan exports to the Netherlands, which include scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals, nuts, legumes, vegetables, coal, computing machine blocks, and containers.

On the other hand, imports from the Netherlands to Kyrgyzstan consist of pharmaceutical products, machinery products, industrial equipment, mechanical devices, vehicles and their parts, optical instruments and apparatus, detergents, perfumery and cosmetics, live plants, food products, petroleum products, lubricants, cardboard, and paper products.

Asylkulov mentioned that there are 28 enterprises in Kyrgyzstan with investments from the Netherlands. These enterprises operate in various sectors such as communication, agricultural product processing, perfume manufacturing, credit and finance, and mining industries.
