Heads of state of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have decided to initiate negotiations with Mongolia on the conclusion of a temporary trade agreement following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has reported this development.
The conceptual provisions of the draft temporary trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia have been prepared within the framework of a joint research group. The proposal includes reducing or eliminating import customs duties in mutual trade for a limited range of goods.
Following the conducted study, the joint research group has concluded that it is expedient to conclude a temporary trade agreement.
