He emphasized the need to gather information from relevant authorities and propose a solution to avoid negative repercussions. The Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan is set to ban Kyrgyz-licensed products starting July 1. The Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Trade and Integration previously highlighted issues with quality compliance documentation in Kyrgyzstan.
Despite having significantly fewer testing laboratories than Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan issued a higher number of permits in 2022-2023. The absence of legal consequences for issuing questionable documents in Kyrgyz legislation was also noted.
