During a press conference today, Deputy General Director of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan, Arzymat Aldayarov, announced that the gasification level in the republic has risen from 22% at the beginning of Gazprom's operations to 40% currently. Over nine years, the company has invested over 32 billion som in gasification and restoration of the gas industry in Kyrgyzstan.
Aldayarov stated that the volume of natural gas sales has more than doubled, from 210 million cubic meters per year to 430-440 million. By 2030, the gasification level is planned to reach 60%.
Gazprom Kyrgyzstan has contributed over 3 billion som in tax payments to the state budget over nine years. In 2023 alone, the company invested over 1 billion som in new gasification for 12 settlements and reconstruction of gas infrastructure.
Aldayarov highlighted that throughout its operations, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan has invested over 32 billion som in the reconstruction and development of the country's gas infrastructure and gasification of 53 settlements. The company's tax payments in 2022 exceeded 714.7 million som, surpassing previous years significantly.
