In a recent development, the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund office signed an agreement for the financial leasing of 100 urban buses with the Osh Mayor's Office. The buses are reported to be manufactured at the Samarkand Automobile Plant.
According to the development fund, the purchase of low-floor passenger buses will help expand and modernize the public transport fleet, increase the efficiency of passenger transportation, and improve the accessibility of transportation services for residents and guests of the southern capital.
It is noted that in 2022, the municipality of Osh had already purchased 50 buses of Uzbek production, further emphasizing the commitment to enhancing public transportation services in the region.
