Starting from March 26, the "Rules for the Provision of Mobile Radiotelephone Communication Services" will come into force as stipulated by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated September 25, 2023.
The changes aim to simplify the process of personalizing subscribers. Now, individuals can do this independently by registering their number in the mobile application of the cellular operator without having to visit a sales and service office. This is particularly convenient for those who lack the time to physically go to the operator's office. Online registration of SIM cards not only streamlines the entire procedure but also ensures maximum transparency and accuracy of information.
SIM cards will only be available for purchase with a passport. Upon activation, subscribers will receive an SMS with a link to download the operator's mobile application. After downloading the application, the subscriber will register the number to their passport.
For all SIM cards sold from April 1, 2024, a limited set of services will be available to subscribers until the personalization process is completed. Full access will only be granted after complete registration.
