The first batch of buses purchased from Uzbekistan has arrived in Osh, as confirmed by the city's mayor's office. It is noted that the remaining buses are expected to arrive in the southern capital by March 21.
Earlier, an agreement on financial leasing of one hundred city buses with the mayor's office of Osh was signed at the office of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund. The buses were manufactured at the Samarkand Automobile Plant.
The purchase of low-floor city buses is expected to expand and modernize the public transport fleet, increase the efficiency of passenger transportation, and improve the accessibility of transport services for residents and guests of the southern capital. In 2022, the municipality of Osh had already acquired 50 buses of Uzbek production.
