Specialists from the state concern "Turkmengas" are increasing the volume of natural gas extraction, reaching over 1.795 billion cubic meters in January-February this year. The majority of resources are allocated to supply gas to the population and industrial facilities. Natural gas is also used for electricity production at the state power plants "Lebap" and "Watan".
The production line in Kukurtli leads in gas production, extracting over 1.468 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the first two months of this year. The specialists at the Malay gas field are working diligently, with a new gas compressor station recently put into operation.
