During a meeting of the Turkmenistan Government, the Director of the Transport and Communications Agency presented a report on the preparation of highly qualified specialists for international road transport. The analysis of freight transportation highlighted the need for professional training of drivers and operators involved in international road transport.
As a result, a proposal was made to establish driving schools and training centers accredited by the IRU - the International Road Transport Union. The President noted that this initiative will expand the routes of freight transportation from Turkmenistan, including to European countries.
