During a Cabinet meeting on April 6th, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov instructed to expand the assortment and volume of textile production. Vice Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev presented a report on the performance of the light industry and the private sector for the first three months of 2024. After hearing the report, the Head of State emphasized the need for effective management of textile enterprises and sufficient supply of essential products to markets and trading points.
The President identified the improvement of the activities of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a top priority by implementing modern methods of exchange trading.
