From May 14 to 19, 2024, the city of Kazan, Russian Federation, will host the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2024," with Turkmenistan set to participate. The event aims to strengthen economic, scientific, technical, social, and cultural cooperation between regions of Russia and the states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The forum will include meetings of the "Russia - Islamic World" Group, the International Exhibition of Economic and Scientific-Technological Cooperation Russia Halal Expo, the International Fair Kazan Halal Market, the Forum of Trade and Industry Chambers, and other activities.
The Turkmen delegation is planning to set up a national pavilion at the forum, participate in negotiations, and sign contracts.
