During a meeting of the Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers, B. Annamammedov proposed the use of expertise from Japanese corporation "Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd." for the technological upgrade of the "Marykarbamid" plant of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya". The President, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, approved the proposal and instructed to take necessary measures.
The Japanese corporation has been successfully collaborating with the State Concerns "Turkmenhimiya" and "Turkmengaz", participating in design, equipment supply, and technical consulting in the construction process of the "Marykarbamid" plant. In early 2024, a Memorandum was signed between the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya", Japanese companies "Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd." and "ITOCHU Corporation" for the construction of plants for gasoline production from natural gas and fertilizers.
